The Blue
When we opened Blue Moon Pizza back in 2003, the basic idea was really simple: We just wanted to create the kind of place we’d like to hang out.
After many years in the corporate restaurant world, we were ready to do our own thing. We looked around and thought, why can’t there be a restaurant with simple but top-notch food, take-care-of the-customer service, a fun, down-to-earth atmosphere, all at reasonable prices you can afford. And oh yeah, how about a real full-service bar to top it off?
It’s a lot to offer in one restaurant. As owners, we’d have to work hard to make it happen. But that’s what we were looking for, something creative and special that makes hard work worthwhile.
Pizza seemed like the perfect signature item, a sharing kind of food everybody loves, to which you can bring unlimited creative touches.
Now when we look around, and hear things our loyal customers say, we realize that this kind of place really is something you don’t see very often. Whadda ya know, Blue Moon turned out to be a pretty good name after all.
